Who You Are
You are a motivated Business Development Sales professional who is passionate about developing and maintaining relationships within the financial services industry focusing on selling BHG Products. You excel at building relationships and educating individuals on our product as well as having experience selling and implementing an enterprise level product. You are personable and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can work autonomously and move the sales process vigorously
What You'll Do
  • You will participate in a 12 week on-boarding and training program that is set up to expose you to multiple aspects of our business which includes front side originations, prospecting non-customer banks and learning about the economics of banking.
  • Your initial 6 weeks will be spent working with BHG applicants that may be interested in one of our loan solutions. The following 6 weeks will be focused on calling prospect banks with the goal of identifying opportunities, handling their objections and eventually scheduling a call to formally present our Bank Network product.
  • After the initial 12 weeks your skill set will be evaluated and your home within the organization will begin to take shape. Your education as it relates to BHG, our products and banking will continue for your first 6 months at BHG.
  • As a sales oriented professional you will create and execute a targeted sales strategy to drive the whole process.
  • Daily outreach to prospect clients to educate them on the benefits and overall products/services and start building a long lasting relationship.
  • It will be essential to building a network of relationships with high-level professionals in the financial service industry.
  • Become a leading expert in the products and services we offer across the entire BHG Product Suite for cross collaboration and cross selling opportunities.
  • This position will have high visibility within the organization and will lead to great career development and growth.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-7 years of outside sales experience in dynamic and fast-paced roles
  • Experience prospecting and building a book of business of strategic partnerships and/or clients
  • Experience with cold calling, building a pipeline of leads, and managing the pipeline in an organized and strategic fashion
  • Strong relationship building skills needed to build rapport with clients quickly and professionally
  • Strong LinkedIn and online networking skills
  • Thrive on energy, passion and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organization and time management is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
