Who You Are
FSG is looking for a self‐driven, autonomous and ambitious individual with solid experience with the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) loan program as it pertains to the servicing of FSG’s 7(a) loan portfolio. You will experience working in a high‐energy environment while continuing to gain extensive knowledge of the financial industry.  The work you perform is critical to our success, and will have a substantial impact on FSG’s business operations and customers.  
What You'll Do
  • Assists with processing of SBA loan servicing requests and annual reviews
  • Orders consumer and business credit reports, appraisals, environmental investigations, site visits, title commitments and other items as requested
  • Verifies taxes, insurance (life, hazard, disability, malpractice, etc.),and financial statements are current
  • Follows up with borrowers for past due payments and exception items
  • Responds to customer service inquiries and requests such as balance information, payoff quotes, address changes, etc.
  • Obtains appropriate documentation such as changes in terms, security agreements, guarantees, etc. to facilitate servicing requests
  • Audits files to ensure all documents match approval and system of record contains complete and accurate information
  • Notifies SBA of changes in accordance with SBA's Servicing Matrix
  • Works with borrowers and Servicing Manager to correct any file deficiencies
  • Prepares disbursement packages for multiple disbursement loans
  • Assists with the preparation of liquidation packages as requested by the Chief Credit Officer
  • Updates internal systems with any changes or corrections
  • Ensures any customer requests, updated documentation, and communication notes are properly stored or recorded
  • Files UCC-3 amendments and continuations as needed
  • Communicates with SBA personnel regarding general questions and requirements
  • Responsible for staying apprised of changes to the SBA SOP to ensure compliance with the most current requirements
  • Communicates effectively with coworkers, other employees, vendors, and SBA personnel
  • Other job duties as needed to assure team effectiveness
What You'll Need
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years SBA 7(a) loan closing or servicing experience
  • Working knowledge of ETran or SBA One
  • Prior PCFS experience a plus
  • Thrive on energy, passion and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Works independently and as a member of a team
